Summer Success at the County Championships 2025

After a brilliant Summer Term of tennis at School, our players continued their momentum throughout the holidays with a number of outstanding successes. The summer concluded in style at the Hereford & Worcestershire, Warwickshire & Staffordshire County Championships – and what a week it was.

 

We were delighted to see so many of our juniors and seniors competing with passion, energy and smiles, not only from the School but those who we also coach through the Bromsgrove Tennis Academy.

• Macklin C – U14 Champion and U14 Doubles Champion

• Grace H – U14 and U16 Champion, U16 Doubles Champion and 2025 Player of the Year

•Gina O – U18 Champion, U16 Doubles Champion and U18 Mixed Champion

• Toby W – U18 Champion and U18 Doubles Champion

• Charles F – U18 Doubles Champion, Men’s Doubles Champion and U18 Finalist

• Jad S (Astwood Bank, with tennis lessons through our academy) – U9 Finalist

• Jake W – U9 Finalist and Doubles Finalist

• Summer N – U14 Doubles Finalist

• George H – U18 Finalist and U18 Doubles Champion

• Callum H – U18 Doubles Finalist

• Chaim C – U18 Mixed Champion

 

In addition, Leeya K, Fredrick B, Florence N (Winterfold), Connie F, Sienna C, Eleanor B and Rose T all competed superbly, showing great spirit and representing themselves brilliantly on and off the court.

 

We are incredibly proud of the commitment, hard work and sportsmanship shown by every player. It is inspiring to see such a strong presence across all age groups, and we look forward to building on this success in the months ahead.
